At the end of April, a "Literary Club" meeting was convened in Ochamchire for students in grades 6 through 8. This event took place in the SmART Class, a space designed for informal gatherings with support from the European Union and the United Nations Development Program.
During the meeting, club members engaged in discussions about their literary tastes. The session was structured into three parts. Initially, participants shared the books they are currently reading and explained their reasons for selecting these specific titles. The conversation then shifted to how their literary preferences have evolved over time. In the final segment, they discussed the genres and books they would likely never explore. It became evident that each student is actively seeking new literary experiences and was eager to exchange recommendations.
The inclusion of middle school students in the "Literary Club" is a relatively novel concept in Ochamchire, as such events are seldom organized for this age group. The facilitators effectively captured the students' interest in a relaxed setting, a success that is vividly reflected in the photographs from the event.
